Questions about a certain blood staff - Guild Wars Forums

This morning I traded 1k with someone for this blood staff which I have a two questions about.

Firstly, can I put upgrades on it? Im think I can, I just want to confirm.
And secondly roughly how much is this worth? Because without upgrades I dont think it can get any better.

it's a collector item worth around 1-2k. yes, you can put mods on it like staff heads or wrappings. i have a staff just like this one but it is fire magic. i have 2 health mods on it making it have health +50
